The cabins were constructed in the late 1800s in the surrounding area and were dismantled in 1983, moved to the corner of Ferry and Locust Streets and reassembled. Some of the history of the families that lived in the cabins is available for those interested.
There are 3 cabins on the location. Two of these are joined with a hallway that has a bath on the left and a half bath on the right side (referred to as the Big Cabins).
The other cabin is a stand alone and is self contained (referred to as the Little Cabin).
Enjoy the ambiance of a bygone era with modern comforts. The Big Cabin has air conditioning and central heat. The Little Cabin has air conditioning and heats with an original wood stove or electric heater (your choice).
This is a great location for those special occasions such as “girls weekend out”, "guys getaway” or that special one-of-a-kind family gathering.
